Hello, I'm Cayti Costello &
I’m really happy you’re here.
I’m a creative that works in healthcare marketing during regular business hours and chats up the sweetest families from behind the lens on the weekends.

I’ve long held a passion for art and design–graduating Summa Cum Laude from the University of Illinois in Springfield with a degree in Visual Arts, studying multimedia theory and specializing in graphic design.
WHY I LOVE
WHAT I DO
After graduation, I worked for a local sign company, designing work that you might still pass by daily or it may have even became a part of your holiday traditions in downtown Springfield (hello, 20ft metal Christmas Tree). Now working in healthcare, I’ve created content that has guided individuals in navigating a global health crisis - even when our department has been understaffed and overworked.
As fulfilling as my daily work can be, there’s only so much creative stretch my cubicle can contain. With my Emmy-winning, cinematographer husband having gear at the ready, I’ve been able to extend my artistic scope and before I knew it, I fell in love with the camera.

With a degree in visual arts and a background in graphic design, I approach your beautiful, authentic moments recognizing them as the art they are. We’ll avoid stiff and uncomfortable poses and find an easy rhythm to capture this stage of life in a kind of time capsule. While your face widens in a natural smile, I’ll be finding the perfect angle, aiming toward the ideal lighting and smiling right alongside you.
In editing, I am keenly aware of how an image makes people feel. You may look back at some photos and it feels nostalgic, but when you look back at the photos I capture, it is my hope that you’ll be transported back in time. You’ll hear the laughter, smell the flowers in bloom and remember what life felt like once upon a time.
